On Friday it will be children in the spotlight, with two classes from primary schools in Le Mans, 'Louis Blériot II' and 'Jean Mermoz', who open the 'young driver' event mounted through a partnership with the City of Le Mans. The activity will then be available to all children during the weekend.
On Saturday it will be the high point of events. On the track between races, vehicles will be on show from the 24 Hours of cars, trucks and motorcycles. At 8pm, Team Bourny will demonstrate dragster quad, a machine powered by an amazing jet engine (equipped with an afterburner) from a Fouga Magister (French air force jet trainer) providing 2000 hp. There will be a parade of decorated trucks for 30 minutes followed by a acrobatic motorbike show that will ignite the Bugatti circuit at both literally and figuratively.
At the same time, The Flying Gaskets will be on the stage set up at the 'virage du raccordement' from 19:30 to 23:00. With new versions of rock standards The Flying Gaskets and energy and good humor of the Charivari style will resonate inside the circuit of Le Mans 24 Hours. A large fireworks display will close the day.
During the three days of the the ACO festival, an exhibition of vehicles will be held at the village entrance. Entire history of the automobile will be traced, from the First World War to the modern vehicles and prestige cars of recent years. All exhibitors will have the opportunity to drive on the Bugatti circuit during the parade reserved for these special machines on Sunday, September 30, 12:25 to 12:55.
Also discover in the Welcome reception building overlooking the track whose entrance leads to the village, the special exhibition called "Treasures of the ACO." This includes a Bugatti Type 40, as well as works by Géo Ham and many works of art, automobilia items, and extraordinary machines from the ACO heritage collection .
Pierre André Bizien, co-author of "l’ACO, un siècle de vie associative et sportive ",(the ACO, a century of club and sporting life) will be present for book signings.
The 24 Hours Museum will also be open, showing the collections of the ACO and the General Council of the Sarthe to illustrate to visitors the great history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the evolution of the automobile. (Discount for festival ticket holders).
The new highlight of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest will also be an opportunity to show off the the driving school in the village and the circuit of Maison Blanche. The will have displays of defensive and responsible driving. Drives (by reservation) will all take place alongside a professional driver in a Porsche. The only official Porsche school in France (Porsche Sport Driving School) or the Prototype Pescarolo cars specially designed for the driving school, Le Mans Driver.
For licensed race drivers, it will also be possible to drive your own car on the Maison Blanche circuit by buying one or more sessions of 20 minutes.
Finally, visitors are sure to visit the village, discover the many shops located especially for the occasion. From Friday, September 28, the heart of the Festival will be ready to welcome spectators. Sales areas of our partners will be open to showcase their expertise and collections: Ray Toombs, Orphéograff, Angers Kit Miniatures, SR Auto, GP Direct, Le Mans Racing Official ACO Shop Racedeck, and other exhibitors. A space dedicated to the ACO, located in the heart of the village, where the public can discover the various activities of the ACO and enter the ACO Festival contest to try to win one of 32 prizes available (2 tickets to the 24 Heures du Mans 2013, 1 Prototype driving session ...). Also France Bleu Maine (radio) will be in the village with a special programme presented live.

The permanent ACO shop, situated in the Musée des 24 Heures (Museum of the 24 hours), at the main entrance of the circuit will be open for the three-days of the festival from 10:00 to 19:00 (20:00 on Friday). Inside the circuit, you can also find all the collections of Event, Racing, Le Mans (clothes, accessories, toys ...) installed in the ACO shop in the village square.

The Faïencerie (pottery) of Bourg-Joly de Malicorne.
Following the partnership signed between the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and Faïencerie Bourg-Joly Malicorne to commemorate the 80th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, they showcase their products during the ACO Festival in the permanent ACO shop. At the workshop, the artisans have exercised their talents to produce original pieces with expertise dating back to 1747. In the collection are: a 1924 Bentley, a Jaguar D-Type 1957, a Ford Mk IV 1967, Porsche 917 LH 1971, a Matra 670B 1972, a Porsche 956 1982, a Mazda 787B 1991 and Audi e-tron quattro R18 victorious in 2012.
From 14:30 to 17:00 on Saturday and 10:00 to 12:00 on Sunday, there will not only be the limited edition collection, but also the craftsmen potters of Bourg-Joly will conduct demonstrations of their craft.
For the Fête de l’ACO, you can try the 'Golf des 24 Heures', including 18 holes on the infield of the famous Mulsanne corner, at an advantagous rate*.
