The festival organized by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, on 28th to 30th of September requires a special broadcast of Web TV which had record audience at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012 with 3.8 million visitors, as evidence of its growing success.
Thanks to lemans-tv.com, web based spectators can watch several sports events simultaneously. On a single screen, a choice of three live broadcasts will be offered: the 27th edition of the 24 Hours Karting, all races of the of the ACO festival and the 6 Hours of Bahrain, sixth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
This full schedule will thus be available to users on the internet motorsports channel.
First event : the 6 Hours of Bahrain.
Friday, September 28 qualifying (14:00 to 14:50 UK time) and on Saturday 29 Warm-Up (10:25-10:45) and the entire 6 hours of the race which will start at 14:00.
On the small screen, surfers will be able to follow the start of the race but at the same time, the start of the 27th 24 Hours Karting, thanks to collaboration with LMTV, the television channel of Le Mans.
Karting will be on live at the following (UK) times: Sat 29th from 11:00 to 12:00; from 13:30 to 15:00 (for the start) ; from 17:00 to 19:00 and from 21:00 to 23:00. Sun 30th from 09:00 to 11:00 then 13:00 to 14:00 for the last laps. Between these periods, fans can follow the race through the fixed cameras on the Circuit Alain Prost.
Finally, all the races of the ACO festival on the Bugatti circuit, namely Championnat de France Formula 4, RCZ Cup, French GT Championship, Inter-Ecuries, European Superkart Championship, ICGP (motorcycle Historic Grand Prix) and 1000 cc Open Trophy will also be broadcast from the first start, at 16:00 (UK) on Saturday until the finish of the last race at 17:35 Sunday.
Commentary (in French) from all these events will be provided by experts and commentators of the various official events and production companies Oreca and Stop & Go.
In one weekend, lemans-tv.com will become the real motorsport channel, with nearly thirty hours of airtime live without forgetting the 800 on-demand video dedicated to endurance racing that are available at any time.
In addition, fans can watch all races of the Festival time shifted, a feature that will be popular with participants.
Of course "Web TV" will never replace coming in person to attend the ACO Festival within the circuit of Le Mans - the many activities of the village, concert, fireworks etc that will not be transmitted - but this service will allow you follow the events from home.
