Hour 18: The morning cadence continues

Porsches run one-two up front and the rest of the class leaders remain unchanged.

After an early morning safety car period, things have gotten back to normal at Le Mans.

The two Porsche 919 Hybrids of Nick Tandy (No. 19) and Mark Webber (No. 17) lead the No. 9 Audi Sport Team Joest Audi R18 e-tron quattro of René Rast.

LM P2 KCMG appears unstoppable in the No. 47 Oreca 05 -Nissan with Richard Bradley behind the wheel. It leads the No. 26 G-Drive Racing Ligier JS P2 - Nissan of Julien Canal and the No. 38 Murphy Prototypes Oreca 03R - Nissan driven by Oliver Turvey.

Corvette is pushing hard to catch the LM GTE Pro leader, No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia (Vilander). Oliver Gavin is trailing in the No. 64 C7.R. The No. 91 Porsche Team Manthey Porsche 911 RSR driven by Joerg Bergmeister remains third.

The No. 55 AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia of Alex Mortimer came to a stop just after Indianapolis, apparently out of fuel. He was not a contender in the LM GTE Am. The leader of that class, No. 98 Aston Martin Racing Vantage V8 in the hands of Paul Dalla Lana, had a brief off-course moment but holds onto the class lead. The No. 72 SMP Race Ferrari 458 Italia is second (Shaytar) and the No. 62 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 458 Italia (Bell) is third.
