The former Austrian F1 driver, Karl Wendlinger, will join team Jet Alliance at Silverstone where he will drive the #65 Lotus Evora with James Rossiter and Johnny Mowlem. Since the Imola race (3rd July), the two British cars have been completely revised and each equipped with a total of nine changes.

Lukas Lichtner-Hoyer, owner of Jet Alliance, "I am very pleased to have Karl on the team. It will certainly help us to have his experience. I hope we will be more competitive with all these new developments. "

January Kalmar, director of Jet Alliance: "We worked, among other things, on the engine, brakes, weight and aerodynamics. With these changes we should take a crucial step forward. "

Karl Wendlinger, driver: "First of all, I am pleased to finally be back behind the wheel of a race car, especially in the team with which I have been successful for over three years GT1 World Championship. I have no experience with Lotus, but I will try to adapt quickly during practice sessions."
