François Fillon drives a BMW M1 in grid 6. The erstwhile 'Premier ministre' and motorsport enthusiast has participated in Le Mans Classic before. In 2009, he tested the Peugeot 908 HDI FAP that won the 24 Hours a few months later.

Natacha Gachnang is one of the 54 women to have raced the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2010). At Le Mans Classic she drives a Cooper Monaco 1960 in grid 3.

SOHEIL AYARI : LA PASSION COMME MOTEUR

You are now at Le Mans Classic for the fourth consecutive time.

Soheil Ayari: "I will certainly never an opportunity to drive on the big Le Mans circuit."

Is it not confusing to drive these cars, just weeks after driving in a modern prototype?

"If at first it is! In 2008, I drove a fabulous Porsche 917. It went as fast as our current prototypes on the straights, but I had to slow down at 300 metres instead of 100 metres. "

This year, you'll be driving a Ferrari 365 GTB Gr4 from 1972 and a Ferrari 512 BBLM of 1979. Are these cars of particular significance to you?

"Of course, they were even posters in my room when I was little! My car collector friend knows, and he never fails to invite me to share his ride! The Ferrari 365 GTB4 is legendary and powerful but with the brakes of that era. As for the Ferrari 512 BBLM, it goes to each Le Mans Classic. It is well balanced. ".
