On Sunday, 23rd October 23, the record holder for victories at the Le Mans 24 Hours (eight wins, including six for Audi) will conduct a demonstration lap before and after the race driving the new Audi A5 DTM, presented last month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This new car develops 450 hp, and will race the 2012 DTM.
Audi Sport Team Phoenix driver, the German Martin Tomczyk has won three times this season and his third place in the penultimate round in Valencia (Spain) secured him the DTM title in 2011 prior Hockenheim. Winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2010, Mike Rockenfeller is in sixth place overall with a victory in Zandvoort (Netherlands), in the third race of the season.
