Video : from the 911 to the 918, Porsche hybrid genealogy

In 2014, Porsche will return to Le Mans 24 Hours in the top prototype class. Until we know more of that programme, we can review the Porsche 911 GT3 R and 918 RSR in the video above. They use a hybrid technology (rear engine and an electric motor on each front wheel) identical to that of the Audi R18 e-tron quattro that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012, which might be found on Porsche's future prototype.
