All of the competitors who will take the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 13th are on the Test Day list, as well as two alternate LM P2 class prototypes, two LM GTE Am class alternates and two Ferraris entered by the AF Corse outfit, which brings the numbers of cars in the LM P2 class to 21 and the total in the LM GTE Am class to 18.
Also, the protagonists in the LM P3 class launched this year by the ACO are approved by the regulations to participate in Test Day. Three requests have been submitted, but the number limit of cars having been reached, only Team LNT cars have been approved to take part in the tests. The third Ginetta for Scuderia Villorba Corse will move up if a spot becomes available.
Though participation in Test Day is mandatory for newcomers - drivers and cars - it is optional for the others. Nonetheless, since the great Circuit des 24 Heures is not permanent, it is impossible to conduct test sessions outside of Test Day, which explains the presence of all the competitors.
The Test Day administrative and technical verifications will take place on Friday, May 29th and Saturday, the 30th at the circuit and the two Test Day free practice sessions are scheduled for Sunday, May 31st.
