ELMS - Video Highlights of the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps

If you missed the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps this weekend, now’s your chance to catch up on the highlights!

It was warm and sunny at the Belgian circuit for the fifth round of the 2019 European Le Mans Series. United Autosports drivers Phil Hanson and Felipe Albuquerque drove the #22 Oreca 07-Gibson to victory, ahead of Cool Racing. It was a one-two-three for the popular Oreca, with the #39 Graff Racing entry in third place. In the LMP3 class, the EuroInternational #11 Ligier JS P3 - Nissan triumphed in the hands of Jensen and Petersen, followed by the Inter Europol Competition #13 Ligier JS P3 - Nissan. Swiss team Luzich Racing topped the LM GTE class with the #51 Ferrari F488 GTE EVO driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, Nicklas Nielsen and Fabien Lavergne.  The win earns them the championship title for their category and therefore an invitation to the 88th 24 Hours of Le Mans on 13–14 June 2020.

The tussle for the LMP2 title is a three-way affair. G-Drive Racing still top the tables on 93 points, ahead of Idec Sport on 80 and Graff Racing on 68. In LMP3, EuroInternational and Inter Europol Competition are neck and neck on 94 points.

Portimao, Portugal is to be the scene of the final showdown on 27 October. The remaining invitations for Le Mans hinge on that round. In LMP2 and GTE, the top two in the championship are offered a place on the grid of the world’s greatest endurance race. The winner of LMP3 receives an invitation to join the LMP2 class for the 24-hour race.
