The selection procedure for the entrants chosen to take part in qualifying for the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours is spread over several major rendezvous.
At the end of the season the Sepang 6 Hours (Malaysia), the final round of the Asian Le Mans Series, on 7th December 2014, the names of the entrants invited were known taking into account their 2014 results in the Le Mans 24 Hours, the Asian Le Mans Series, the European Le Mans Series and the Tudor United SportsCar Championship.
Ten teams won invitations to take part in qualifying for the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours. This represented a possible 13 entries out of the 56 places available on the grid on 13th June.

Each invitation can be awarded only if the car in question has been entered for one of the following three championships in 2015: the Asian Le Mans Series, the European Le Mans Series and the Tudor United SportsCar Championship.
Entries for the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours (to be sent to the Automobile Club de l’Ouest) opened on 18th December 2014 and closed on 27th January 2015 at midday.
On the evening of 30th January, under the presidency of Pierre Fillon, the ACO President, the Selection Committee met. It was entrusted with the task of drawing up the list of teams comprising the 56 cars invited to take part in the race, as well as the 10 reserves to replace any withdrawals of the cars selected.
The entry list for the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours will be announced on Thursday 5th February 2015 in Paris during the press conference held at Potel et Chabot in the Pavilion Cambon-Capucines. The press conference was broadcast in live streaming on the site www.24h-lemans.com thanks to Michelin’s collaboration.
