Ferrari have shown their dominance over most of the free practice sessions and confirmed their potential by locking out the front row of the LM GT2 grid for tomorrow's race. The inseparable Jaime Melo and Gianmaria "Gimmi" Bruni,  once rivals but in now the same team, responded to calls to make up tenths in eight fantastic laps of suspense. The Brazilian was the only one to go below 1'20, but no less than nine cars were within a second.

There are also two Ferraris on the second row with Guy Cosmo and Johannes van Overbeek Extreme Speed Motorsports. This is a decidedly auspicious day for the Ferrari F430 GT which is well suited to the circuit. Following the Ferraris were a BMW and two Corvettes. You need to go down to eighth place in the category to find a first Porsche, the Flying Lizard of Patrick Long.
