This additional prototype class will open up the category to more teams, and offers a more affordable entry-level prototype class, which can act as a launching platform to the LM P2 category. Any team wishing to enter a CN car must fill-in a Technical and Safety questionnaire to be returned to the Automobile Club de l'Ouest. The questionnaire is available for download at www.asianlemansseries.com.
The grid of the 2014 Asian Le Mans Series will also include GT and GT Am cars. Three Asian Le Mans Series competitors will be invited to the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans: the LM P2 winner, and the first and second in the GT class who will join the LM GTE grid at Le Mans. The 2014 Asian Le Mans Series calendar features five 3-hour races: Inje (South Korea, July 20), Fuji (Japan, August 9), Zhuhai (China, October 11), Shanghai (China, October 26), Sepang (Malaysia, December 7).
