Race Week at the 24 Hours Centenary kicks off today in the Le Mans city centre with the administrative and technical checks known as Scrutineering. Here's the programme!
Race Week gets underway every year with the administrative and technical checks commonly referred to as Scrutineering. Teams entered in the Centenary will head to the Le Mans city centre today and tomorrow to submit their cars to a rigorous inspection by the technical marshals. The cars will be measured from every angle to ensure compliance with the regulations. At the same time, equipment and driver licences will be verified.
Scrutineering is the first opportunity for fans to see the cars up close and to cheer on the race's 186 drivers. Entry is free.
DKR Engineering's #43 ORECA 07-Gibson will start the day off at 10:00, and IDEC SPORT Racing's #48 ORECA 07-Gibson will close it out at 18:00.
