In conjunction with its participation in the FIA World Endurance Championship beginning in 2022, Peugeot wished to pay tribute to its past at the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. On Saturday 19 September at 13:05, Carlos Tavares, Chairman of the Managing Board of Groupe PSA and official starter of the 88th 24 Hours, will take the track for one lap at the wheel of a Peugeot 908. The car won Le Mans in 2009.
The lap is also a way to thank all of the fans, viewers, volunteers, organisers and teams who help make the legendary race happen.
