Frédéric Sausset's portfolio, via the SRT41 by Oak Racing outfit, has been chosen to occupy Garage 56, dedicated to innovative projects, by the 24 Hours of Le Mans Selection Committee. The Morgan Nissan LM P2 to be entered has been modified to accommodate the French driver's disability. His teammates for the 84th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (hence the number 84 sported by the car) will be Christophe Tinseau - who has been with him since the beginning of the project and who has participated 11 times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans - and Jean-Bernard Bouvet (8 participations).
The project is supported by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the FIA, Audi and Onroak Automotive. To get comfortable with his car, Sausset competed in, with his two teammates, the 4 Hours of Silverstone (ELMS) as well as the 4 Hours of Endurance Proto V de V held at Le Mans (with Christophe Tinseau only).
In this video, check out Frédéric Sausset a few hours prior to the start of the race at Le Mans as well as comments from Christophe Tinseau on his preparation.
