24 Hours of Le Mans - Is the new Porsche 911 RSR the car to beat? (video)

Porsche endured a difficult 2016 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with two retirements in the LMGTE Pro class before mid-race. This year, the German marque will hit the track with a new Porsche 911 RSR to secure the class win that has eluded it since 2013!

This year Porsche GT Team has entered two new 911 RSRs with top-notch driver line-ups. The #91 will be shared by Richard Lietz and French drivers Patrick Pilet and Frédéric Makowiecki. The wheel of the #92 sister car will be taken by Michael Christensen, Kévin Estre (see article) and Dirk Werner.

In this video, learn about the 2017 Porsche 911 RSR project from Patrick Pilet and Richard Lietz. They explain the modifications completed on the car...which in the end turned it into an all-new model!
