Robert Smith (GBR): "I can't believe we're on the top step of the podium. JMW did a great job preparing the car. We didn't make any mistakes and that's what helped us win it. As an amateur, I found the traffic very difficult at night and easier during the day. You have to realise how fast the LMP1s and LMP2s are travelling. It's an incredible day for the whole JMW family. I'm delighted to be in a team with these two super-fast drivers."

William Stevens (GBR): " Last year, I came second in LMP2 with G-Drive Racing. I wanted to come back this year into a competitive environment. When JMW told me they were doing Le Mans with a new car with factory backing, I accepted. It's a great victory for me and for the JMW team. We had to learn very quickly as the team received the car late. It was superb throughout the 24 Hours of Le Mans." 

Dries Vanthoor (BEL): "Winning this race at my age is really special. I hope it'll bring more opportunites. It's been an incredible week. We had a clean, error-free race. When those two things come together, you are sure to get a good result."
