The No.49 Pecom Racing Oreca 03-Nissan, operated in association with AF Corse, is driven by ice cream magnate Luis Perez-Companc, former Audi driver Pierre Kaffer and Soheil Ayari this year.
The AF Corse run team has swapped from Lola-Judd to Oreca-Nissan this year and ex Signatech man Ayari has replaced Mattias Russo on the team. They finished 10th in class at Spa and claimed a great podium place at Sebring on their debut with the Oreca-Nissan. Gianmaria Bruni replaced Ayari at Le Castellet and they finished 7th. Much work has been done since then to prepare for Le Mans and the team is aiming for a podium result.
