After his ninth victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans last June with Audi, Tom Kristensen could win again as his name can be found among the 10 persons nominated to win "personality of the year" by the FIA.
The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile asked all media accredited for the year to give three names to be nominated for the personality of the year. The top ten names were used to make a list of nominees. The winner will also be decided upon by the media and will be honoured during the FIA prize gala in Paris on Dec. 6.
Winning personality of the year would be the cherry on the cake for the Danish driver, who won this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans as well as the FIA World Endurance Championship, both with teammates Loïc Duval and Allan McNish.
