Alex Brundle started his career in sportscar racing with dad Martin and he now goes his own way. Second in the LM P2 class at the last 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Morgan driver (OAK Racing) dreams of an overall victory... as his father did back in 1990!

August 7 1990 in Kings Lynn, UK.

Nickname?
"Cookie Monster" on Radio Le Mans and "Mr Rain" (OAK Racing Chief Eng Thierry Bouvet).

Childhood dream?
To be a race driver.

Most proud of?
The pole at the 6 Hours of Silverstone, beating established factory drivers.

Biggest regret?
Too much pressure too young cost me results in my early career.

A strength?
Determination.

Over-thinking.

A motto?
Whoever said "it's not whether you win or lose that counts" probably lost!

A phobia?
Spiders.

A lucky charm?
If you need one you should be working harder!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Driving for a manufacturer in the top class in WEC.

First 24 Hours of Le Mans?
In 2012 with Greaves Motorsport (Zytek).

Favorite part of the circuit?
The two flat out lefts in the middle of the Porsche Curves.

Favorite time?
I prefer the darkest point of night when everyone is asleep and you are on track making the difference.

Best memory?
Qualifying at night with camera bulbs flashing from the grand stands.

A historic car?
Bentley EXP Speed 8.

Former winner as a team-mate?
It has already happened! Martin Brundle!
