FIA WEC – TOTAL 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps provisional entry list

Competitors in the FIA World Endurance Championship will soon hit the track again for the highly anticipated TOTAL 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps on 13-15 August, the sixth round of the 2019-2020 season.

A total of 31 cars figure on the provisional entry list for the upcoming TOTAL 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. The race is traditionally considered the final dress rehearsal before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 88th running of which will take place on 19-20 September this year due to the global health crisis. So far, four cars are entered in LMP1, 10 in LMP2, six in LMGTE Pro and 11 in LMGTE Am.

Joining the eight permanent competitors in the LMP2 class is Eurasia Motorsport's #35 Ligier JS P217-Gibson, making its debut in the FIA WEC, to be shared by New Zealander Daniel Gaunt and Japanese driver Nobuya Yamanaka (the third driver is yet to be named). Algarve Pro Racing, a regular in the European Le Mans Series, will field an ORECA 07-Gibson with only American driver John Falb confirmed for the moment.

Last year, the race took place in early May in ever-changing weather conditions, from snow and hail to rain and sunshine!
