The first all female crew in the history of the ALMS, Andrea Robertson and Melanie Snow braved the weather to finish the fifth round of the 2011 series, that was won by the Lola-Aston Martin of Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr.

Andrea Robertson will occupy a place in history as the first lady to win a podium finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 1931 with her third place in the LM GTE Am with her husband. She wrote a new chapter in that history with teammate Melanie Snow.

The Ford GT40 #40 had a steady race. After Andrea Robertson had driven for the first 75 minutes of racing, the Melanie Snow took the wheel, and was confronted with many yellow flag periods, until the rain drowned the circuit three-quarters of an hour from the finish. She nevertheless managed to stay out of trouble on the wet track where she had never driven the Ford GT in the rain, and finished in fourteenth position in GT. The race finished under red flag ten minutes from the scheduled end. Anthony Lazzaro and David Murry took the second Ford GT (#04) of Robertson Racing to seventh place in the category.
