Despite the absence of Audi and Toyota, the duelists of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the 15th annual Petit Le Mans, which will be held Saturday, October 20, has a magnificent entry list, including a driver linie-up that can not fail to attract attention: Dario and Marino Franchitti.
Triple winner of the Indianapolis 500 (2007-10-12) and quadruple Indy Car champion (2007-09-10-11), Dario Franchitti will share the wheel of the #95 Honda HPD ARX-03b (LM P2) of Level 5 Motorsports with his brother Marino, seen this year at the 24 Hours of Le Mans driving the DeltaWing Nissan. Scott Tucker, the owner of the team, will be the third man in this crew. For Dario it will be his second appearance at Petit Le Mans. His record includes a victory in LM P2 at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2007 (second overall) driving an Acura (former name of Honda HPD chassis) entered by Andretti Green Racing (now Andretti Autosport). His team-mates were Bryan Herta and Brazilian Tony Kanaan.
