Dates confirmed for rescheduled Qatar 1812 Km and FIA WEC Prologue
The FIA World Endurance Championship has finalised the new dates for the 2026 edition of the Qatar 1812km and the series’ pre-season Prologue.

The German team intends to field two Ford Mustang GT3s in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship in the new LMGT3 category.
Proton Competition has announced the following crews for its Ford Mustangs: Ryan Hardwick, Zacharie Robichon and Ben Barker will share the #77. Giorgio Roda, Mikkel Pedersen and Dennis Olsen will drive the #88.
Proton Competition owner Christian Ried: "We are entering this new era with talented drivers who have been part of the Proton family for a long while and know our team well. They have a great deal of experience in a variety of championships. They will help us along with our partner, Ford, to be successful in the FIA WEC."
In the LMGT3 category, Ford will take on BMW (Team WRT), Ferrari (Vista AF Corse), McLaren (United Autosports), Chevrolet Corvette (TF Sport), Lamborghini (Iron Lynx and Iron Dames), Lexus (AKKODIS ASP Team), Porsche (Manthey EMA and Manthey PUREXCING) and Aston Martin (Heart of Racing Team and D’STATION Racing).
The German outfit will also compete in the Hypercar category with a Porsche 963. Harry Tincknell has already been confirmed to take the wheel.
