24H EXPERIENCE app: your pocket guide to the 24 Hours of Le Mans

For its inaugural edition, Le Mans Classic Legend, taking place from July 2 to 5, 2026 on the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans Circuit, is set to deliver a spectacular weekend both on and off the track. Co-organised by Peter Auto and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, this brand-new event will offer a contemporary celebration of endurance racing history through 5 grids featuring cars from the mid-1970s to the late 2010s. From iconic prototypes to legendary GT cars, spectators will witness on track the technical and aesthetic evolution of endurance racing over the past 50 years on the full Le Mans circuit.

Beyond the on-track demonstrations and racing grids, Le Mans Classic Legend will offer a true festive and cultural experience designed for all audiences. Concerts, exhibitions, open-air cinema screenings and retro entertainment will bring the village to life throughout the weekend, transforming the event into a genuine vintage festival.

<h2>LIVE MUSIC &amp; ENTERTAINMENT</h2>

Following the success of the 2025 edition, two nights of concerts are once again on the program, featuring new headliners: Contrecoeur, Purple Disco Machine, and &Eacute;tienne de Cr&eacute;cy on Friday night, followed by Bacchus, Superbus, and Bon Entendeur on Saturday night. A lineup designed to keep the audience dancing and singing until the wee hours of the morning.

Visitors will be immersed in a musical atmosphere ranging from the great classics of the &rsquo;80s and &rsquo;90s to the best hits of the 2010s. The Republican Guard&rsquo;s marching band will also be back and will perform, throughout the weekend, musical arrangements specially created for the event.

<h2>SHOWS, ENTERTAINMENT &amp; RETRO ATMOSPHERE</h2>

Visitors will be able to enjoy performances by Street Smile, a troupe that blends interactive breakdancing, Double Dutch, and freestyle BMX demonstrations through several shows held throughout the weekend across the circuit. An urban, festive energy will transport the audience back to the golden age of street culture. Breakdancing workshops will be offered to the public throughout the weekend.

Thrill-seekers will find Bike Art and its impressive trials and freestyle BMX shows. Up to three performances a day will liven up the weekend, accompanied by introductory sessions allowing the public to discover these spectacular disciplines up close with the riders.

Younger visitors will enjoy a dedicated play area featuring face painting, tattoos, fun activities, a magician, and photo booths. All activities will be free and open to everyone throughout the weekend, with the exception of the claw machine at the carnival.

A first edition also means plenty of new features, and this one is packed with them to satisfy the whole family. A large carnival will take place at the heart of the event with rides, bumper cars, a coconut shy, shooting galleries, and cotton candy to transport visitors back to the memories of the great popular festivals of yesteryear. A large vintage arcade area will also feature pinball machines, arcade games, pool tables, air hockey, and retro game consoles.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Another major new feature this year: the Supercars Run, which will give enthusiasts the opportunity to admire several collector&rsquo;s supercars and hypercars on the track on Saturday morning, as they take on the grand loop of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Circuit.

To round out this festive atmosphere, Le Mans Classic Legend will also celebrate the 7th Art with an open-air cinema on Friday and Saturday. Three screenings per day will allow visitors to rediscover cult films from the &rsquo;80s and &rsquo;90s in a friendly atmosphere.

<h2>THE MAZDA 787B RETURNS TO THE GRAND CIRCUIT</h2>

The legendary Mazda 787B will take center stage during a special demonstration on the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. A true icon of endurance racing and the only Japanese car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1991, the 787B will offer the public a rare opportunity to see one of the most iconic cars in the history back in action. The distinctive sound of its rotary engine will once again echo through the Sarthe for a moment filled with emotion and nostalgia.

<h2>LITTLE BIG MANS: YOUNG DRIVERS TAKE CENTER STAGE</h2>

Because passion starts at an early age, young motorsport enthusiasts taking part in Little Big Mans will also have their own chance to shine on track.

Open to children aged 7 to 12, Little Big Mans is a parade featuring miniature replicas powered by electric or combustion engines inspired by legendary endurance racing cars.

<h2>GORDON MURRAY IN THE SPOTLIGHT</h2>

Another highlight of the weekend will be the exceptional presence of Gordon Murray, visionary engineer and iconic figure in automotive history. To celebrate the occasion, an exclusive parade featuring several legendary Gordon Murray creations will take place on the 24 Hours of le Mans Circuit. Spectators will notably be able to admire the legendary McLaren F1, winner of the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans in its GTR version, alongside the T.50, T.50s Niki Lauda, and T.33 models from Gordon Murray Automotive.

Two iconic Formula 1 single-seaters will also join the celebration: the Brabham BT42 and the legendary McLaren MP4/5B, driven by Ayrton Senna during his second Formula 1 World Championship title in 1990. Throughout the weekend, the vehicles taking part in this exclusive parade will be displayed in the heart of the village, offering visitors a unique immersion into Gordon Murray&rsquo;s world.

Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA has had to replace one of its drivers less than a month before the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans, the third round of the 2026 FIA WEC season. Louis Delétraz has been drafted into the #12 Cadillac V-Series.R line-up.

In the run-up to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, even the best-laid plans can go awry. Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA driver Alex Lynn has been forced to postpone surgery originally scheduled earlier in the season and must now observe a period of convalescence instead of hurtling around the Circuit des 24 Heures in June. Missing out on the French endurance classic is obviously a painful experience for the British racer who knows that the 24 Hours of Le Mans is not just any old race. It can mark an entire career.

His wise words however masked a feeling of frustration that only endurance drivers learn to tame with time.&nbsp; &ldquo;Getting this procedure completed and fully recovering has to be the priority,&rdquo; Lynn said. &ldquo;The timing hasn&rsquo;t worked out as originally planned due to scheduling difficulties around the surgery, but we now have a clear path forward. I&rsquo;ll be supporting the team from home and I wish Louis, the #12 crew and everyone at Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA the very best for Le Mans.&rdquo;

<h2>Louis Del&eacute;traz, the supersub</h2>

Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA&rsquo;s call to&nbsp;Louis Del&eacute;traz is anything but an improvised gamble. The Swiss racer belongs to a generation of drivers capable of switching between championships with surprising ease, like a musician swapping instruments without losing rhythm.

European Le Mans Series (ELMS) champion Del&eacute;traz knows all about the emotion of a Le Mans win, having triumphed in the LMP2 Pro-Am class with AO by TF, and is well aware that pure speed alone is rarely enough for victory. Here, it is all about survival, mastering the traffic, understanding the car&rsquo;s silences and keeping your cool when the circuit seems to breathe quicker than you.

Given that Del&eacute;traz competed in the TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps at the wheel of the American hypercar (ninth overall), his rapid integration appears all the more natural. He also took part in the team&rsquo;s preparations, including testing at Silverstone.

&ldquo;Our priority is ensuring Alex can complete his surgery, make a full recovery and return to full fitness as soon as possible,&rdquo; declared Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA director and co-founder Sam Hignett. &ldquo;Naturally, it&rsquo;s disappointing that he won&rsquo;t be with us for Le Mans, but we fully support him in taking the time needed to complete his surgery and rehabilitation properly. We&rsquo;re pleased to have Louis stepping into the car for the test and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He already knows the team well and has been part of our preparations, so we&rsquo;re confident he&rsquo;ll do a great job alongside the rest of the crew.&rdquo;

After Rexy, Roxy and Spike, AO Racing has conjured up a new character for the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans (10-14 June 2026). Rockie the Pegasus, a flamboyant winged horse, is set to defend the team’s LMP2 Pro/Am title in this year’s French endurance classic.

Some cars are built simply to win. Others also tell a story. For several years now, AO Racing has transformed each of its appearances into a genuine visual and emotional adventure. The American team will be back for the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans with a new heroine: Rockie, a Pegasus with a look of steely determination, will adorn the #99 Oreca 07-Gibson entered in the LMP2 Pro/Am class. PJ Hyett, Dane Cameron and James Allen will share driving duties.

Some projects leave an indelible mark on the race paddocks and grandstands because they dare to be different. Rexy brought out the inner child within every&nbsp;endurance fan. Spike wrote the next chapter of the story and brought a smile to every face. But, as Le Mans always demands a little bit more, AO Racing has now opted to take flight.

<h2>A Pegasus to defend the team&rsquo;s LMP2 Pro/Am title</h2>

Rockie didn&rsquo;t just happen by chance. Her wings carry the heritage of a success that is still fresh in every onlooker&rsquo;s memory: AO by TF&rsquo;s LMP2 Pro/Am win at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans. A race managed with the precision of a clockmaker and the raw energy of a group that refused to ease its grip in the dark of night.

The outfit&rsquo;s return to the Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans one year later is something of a homecoming. A home where nothing is ever taken for granted, however. At Le Mans, all the dials are reset to zero every year. Past achievements cannot be taken away but the track remembers no-one.

Rockie, the outcome of a collaborative effort between AO Racing and Mobil 1, was born with this fact in mind. With her great wings outstretched, her flamboyant red mane floating in the wind and a gaze that flirts with the untamed, Rockie the Pegasus is ready to spring out of the pits and fly down the Mulsanne Straight. An outline that is as much an invitation to travel as it is a symbol of speed.

<h2>The 24 Hours of Le Mans &ndash; a playground of emotions</h2>
