The ALMS on the straight

Inaugrated last year the street race at Baltimore will be the antepenultimate race of the American Le Mans Series.

There will only be two rounds after the GP of Baltimore which will take place Saturday at 21:30 (UK time). The points awarded in Maryland will be decisive for the various season titles of the ALMS.

LM P1

After suffering the domination of Muscle Milk Pickett Racing, Dyson Racing team is well placed in the title race after winning the last race at Road America. The defending champions only 12 points behind, can still defend their crown.

2. Dyson Racing (Lola B12/60 Mazda), 128 pts

 

LM P2

The defending champions, Level 5 Motorsports have seen the emergence of Conquest Endurance this summer. Made in Le Mans, at Oak Racing, the Morgan has won twice in the last three races. 12 points behind, Eric Bachelart's team can still win the title in their first season in the ALMS!

LM GT

Corvette Racing is entering the final straight at the top of the standings, but the title race remains uncertain. BMW, Porsche and Ferrari have each managed to win once this summer. For the record, it was the Falken Porsche that won in the streets of Baltimore last year. Speaking of tyres, Michelin is the lead of the "Manufacturers" with 12 points ahead of Dunlop.

LM PC

Core Autosport team having already clinched the title at Road America, the focus is now on drivers, which is between Popow and duo-of Bennett and Braun.

GTC

The Alex Job Racing team, which has won twice in GT2 at Le Mans (2003, 2005), can win the title in the ALMS this year ... With 28 points ahead of TRG.
