The Ligier JS P3: from design to the track...(video)

The Ligier JS P3, a contender in the LM P3 class created by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, was officially presented during the week of the 83rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June by Onroak Automotive, the constructor branch of OAK Racing.

Though not eligible to race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, LM P3 class cars can compete in the European Le Mans Series and the Asian Le Mans Series, while the American TUDOR United SportsCar Championship considers eventual approval. Interested competitors are also able to take part in Test Day at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which takes place two weeks before the race, so as to gain experience: the LM P3 class is the foundation of the endurance pyramid allowing young newcomers and gentlemen-drivers to hone their skills before jumping into LM P2, or even LM P1 for the most talented among them...
