Today's Photo Story - Actor Paul Newman participates in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1979

On November 17, 2003, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected governor of California. On June 10, 1979, Paul Newman finished second at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with Dick Barbour and Rolf Stommelen, contributing to Porsche's overall one-two-three-four.
