Tom Dillmann joins Signatech Alpine

For the end of this 2015 season, a new face will emerge within French team Signatech Alpine: Tom Dillmann will take over for Vincent Capillaire at the wheel of the No. 36 Alpine A450b-Nissan.

At 26 years of age, Tom Dillmann has been immersed in the motorsports world since he was a young boy thanks to his father Gérard, himself a driver. His journey began primarily in karting leading into single-seaters (Formula Renault, Italian and German Formula 3 Euroseries, GP3, GP2) and also in the Porsche Carrera Cup France in 2014. A profile that fits most of the young talents flourishing these last few years in the LM P2 class, like Harry Tincknell, Sam Bird, James Calado and Richie Stanaway.

Dillmann will join Nelson Panciatici and Paul-Loup Chatin as of November 1st for the 6 Hours of Shanghai, seventh and next-to-last round of the 2015 World Endurance Championship. He represents the proverbial loyalty of Philippe Sinault, Signatech Alpine owner, to young French drivers he enjoys fostering...for example, these days he is extremely proud of the achievements of one of his former underlings: a certain Benoît Tréluyer, three-time winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Audi!

Tickets to the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans will be available for purchase on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 (for ACO members) and Friday, November 6, 2015 (for the general public).
