Reliable and competitive, both Lola chassis will be ready to pounce on any failure of Peugeot and Audi. At the close of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup 2011, the British manufacturer will be represented by Rebellion Racing and Aston Martin Racing.

Rebellion Racing has already achieved the best season in its young history. After a sixth place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Anglo-Swiss team has become the third force in pursuit of Peugeot and Audi, and has also won Team and Manufacturers titles at the end of the season in the Le Mans Series. Fourth and fifth at the end of the two previous rounds of the ILMC at Silverstone and Petit Le Mans, however Rebellion Racing had to face the return to form of the French team OAK Racing, who will be a serious opponent for the 6 Hours of Zhuhai.

After the setbacks encountered since the start of the season with the AMR-One, Aston Martin Racing decided to run the Lola-Aston Martin coupe at Silverstone. Seventh at Le Mans with Kronos Racing, winner of the Le Mans Series in 2009, it has a reputation for reliability, and brought Aston Martin Racing to third place at Petit Le Mans. They are poised behind the Peugeot-Audi battle, a place also coveted by Rebellion Racing ...

The Lola Coupe Rebellion Racing (#12) will be driven by Neel Jani and Nicolas Prost, while Andy Meyrick, Stefan Mücke and Harold Primat will be at the wheel of the Aston Martin Racing (#007).

The Zhuhai 6 hours will be on the 13th November. Click here for more information on the final race of the ILMC 2011.
