24 Hours of Le Mans – Ford finalizes its driver line-ups

Ford is set to field four Ford GTs in the LMGTE Pro class at the 87th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (15-16 June). The American manufacturer has confirmed its driver line-ups for the Super Finale of the 2018-2019 FIA World Endurance Championship season.

American drivers Billy Johnson and Jonathan Bomarito are confirmed to take the wheel of the #66 and #67 Ford GTs once again after the 1000 Miles of Sebring back in March.

This will be Johnson's fourth participation in the 24 Hours and his second at the wheel of the #66 Ford GT. Last year he finished sixth in the LMGTE Pro class along with Stefan Mücke and Olivier Pla.

Bomarito made his one appearance at Le Mans in 2013 with the Viper GTS-R fielded by American team SRT Motorsports. This year, he will share the #67 Ford GT with Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell.

Ford Chip Ganassi Team USA's two Ford GTs will be shared by Joey Hand, Dirk Müller, Sébastien Bourdais and Ryan Briscoe, Richard Westbrook, Scott Dixon.

Ford has entered four GTs in this year's edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans: the two from the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) representing Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK and the two from the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship representing Ford Chip Ganassi Team USA.
