24 Hours of Le Mans – Panis Racing opts for an all-French driver line-up

Panis Racing has announced its driver line-up for the upcoming behind closed doors running of 24 Hours of Le Mans on 19-20 September. The team's #31 ORECA 07-Gibson will be entrusted to three French drivers.

For its fifth participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Panis Racing is entering an ORECA 07-Gibson in the LMP2 class. The prototype will be driven by Nicolas Jamin (one participation), Julien Canal (10 participations) and Matthieu Vaxivière (three participations).

It's a top-tier crew according to team principal Olivier Panis (along with Sarah and Simon Abadie): "We know this line-up is very balanced, that the drivers perform extremely well and that we can count on them to give their all. For our fifth participation, the team is fully prepared to use all of the ORECA's potential."

Last year, the team fielded a Ligier JS P217-Gibson, finishing 13th overall and eighth in the LMP2 class.
