The 40th anniversary of Porsche’s first Le Mans win is one of the big features of the 2010, Le Mans Classic, but Nissan also celebrates the 40th of its Z coupe this weekend.

Born under the name of Datsun, the Z raced all over the world with brilliant results, notably finishing third at the 1972 Monte Carlo rally thanks to Rauno Aaltonen and Jean Todt, and scoring a class win at the 1975 running of the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1975.

A stunning coupe celebrates this heritage, with a compact and discreet design of strong personality. The 370Z is available in coupe and roadster versions, and uses innovative technical options like the automatic double clutch, adapted to a manual transmission for the first time.

The Le Mans Classic also offers the opportunity to watch other mythical models by the Japanese make, like the Fairlady 2000, 240Z, 280ZX, 300ZX, 370Z, not to forget the GT-R, Nissan’s ultimate sports car!
