Absent at Silverstone, Pescarolo looks to the future.

 

 

Missing from the entry list of the Silverstone 6 hours on the 25th August, Pescarolo Team might also miss the following four rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship​​.

Although used to performing miracles, Henri Pescarolo and his team had failed to recover from the breakup of his partnership with Luxury Racing: lack of budget delayed the assembly of the 03 Pescarolo, finally completed just three weeks before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, too short a time to properly develop the prototype.

Following the missed opportunity in La Sarthe, Roald Goethe who owns the car, did not want to invest more money in the project. Originally entered in the FIA World Endurance Championship​​, Pescarolo Team is thus unable to honour its commitment to the 6 Hours of Silverstone (25th August).

Remaining optimistic, Henri Pescarolo still hopes to be present for one of the remaining rounds (São Paulo, Bahrain, Fuji, Shanghai). One possibility would be to use the Dome S102.5 at the 6 Hours of Fuji, as he had done for the 24 Hours of Le Mans race that the Japanese car finished unclassified (insufficient distance traveled).

To save his team, Henri Pescarolo will have to find new financial partners.
