Next season, the new Ligier JS P320 will take part in the European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup, Ultimate Cup Series and Asian Le Mans Series. However, the previous version Ligier JS P3 is not bowing out just yet. It is expected to participate in the 2019-2020 Asian Le Mans Series season, in the IMSA Prototype Challenge 2020 and the Australian LM P3 Cup in 2020 and 2021.
The four constructors selected for the second generation LMP3 are: Ligier, Duqueine Engineering, Ginetta and Adess. The new LMP3 is an evolution of each constructor's current car, not an all-new car.
The Ligier JS P320 and the other new LMP3s will be presented to the public on Friday 14 June at the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit.
