Today's Photo Story - Jack Leconte's Porsche at the 1993 24 Hours of Le Mans

On November 19, 1975 the film "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" was released starring Jack Nicholson, who won an Oscar for his performance. On June 20, 1993, a driver named Jack (Jack Leconte) claimed the second step on the podium of the C4 class with Larbre Compétition's #78 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR.

After five participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a driver, Jack Leconte - celebrating his birthday today in fact - hung up his helmet to dedicate himself fully as the team manager of Larbre Compétition. A successful endeavor as the French outfit has clinched three class victories, in GT1 with a Saleen S7-R in 2010, then in LM GTE Am with a Corvette C6 in 2011 and 2012.
