24 Hours of Le Mans - The debut of Corvette in 1960 (video)

In 1960, Corvette debuted at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the C1. First participation and first class victory for the legendary American car, a (long) series that was only just beginning...

It was none other than the legendary Briggs Cunningham who entered three of the four C1s present in La Sarthe in 1960, allowing Chevrolet to win the GT 5.0 class. John Fitch and Bob Grossman paved the way for Oliver Gavin, Jan Magnussen, Ron Fellows and Johnny O'Connell.

In this video, Bruce Meyer - one of the biggest car collectors in the United States - explains Corvette's epic experience of 1960.
