Martin Brundle will race the next edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with his son, Alex, one of the two LM P2 Zytek Nissan of Greaves Motorsport. The winner of the 24 hours in 1990 (Jaguar) has not participated in the race for ten years!

After Andretti, Bell and Mansell ... The Brundle family will make an assault on the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Martin's father, 52, was one of the great figures of endurance racing in the 90's, during which he was one of the pillars of manufacturers such as Jaguar, Nissan, Toyota and Bentley (2001). Between 1984 and 1996, he started the 158 F1 GP, but never won.

At only 21, his son, Alex, just finished the season in seventh position in F2. This performance earned him a drive for the Greaves Motorsports team for the full Le Mans Series season. However, his Le Mans experience is limited to ten laps behind the wheel of the Nissan Zytek during the test day of April 24, 2011. Suffice it to say that his father, who will accompany him in La Sarthe (only), will have much to teach him the event he raced eight times.
