ELMS – United Autosports scores the pole at the 4 Hours of Monza

United Autosports' #22 ORECA 07-Gibson will start from pole position at the 4 Hours of Monza on Sunday at 11:00 local time. The Anglo-American team is also the pole-sitter in the LMP3 class. Iron Lynx will start from the top spot in LMGTE at home.

Filipe Albuquerque driving United Autosports' #22 ORECA 07-Gibson has secured the pole at the 4 Hours of Monza for the fourth time in four rounds this year. Thanks to a time of 1:33.928, he qualified ahead of G-Drive Racing's #26 Aurus 01-Gibson and the #30 ORECA 07-Gibson fielded by Duqueine Team. These teams are all within six-tenths of a second, so this is going to be an intense race.

Pole position in the LMP3 class went to the #2 Ligier JS P3-Nissan entered by United Autosports on the heels of a stunning lap by Wayne Boyd.

Lastly, Italian team Iron Lynx nabbed its first pole in LMGTE thanks to the #60 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo shared by Claudio Schiavoni, Sergio Pianezzola and Andrea Piccini.

The start of the 4 Hours of Monza will be given on Sunday at 11:00 local time. Watch the full race live for free on the European Le Mans Series website. With six titles still in play, this fourth of five rounds on the 2020 calendar is a must-see.
