Plenty to see and do throughout midweek
This year’s midweek programme includes track events, support races, free practice sessions, qualifying and the 24 Hours of Le Mans Hyperpole, not to mention the buzzing race villages and fan zones.
Wednesday and Thursday are the ideal days to explore the circuit at your own pace. Spectators can wander around the villages and fan zones and take in a demonstration or two, admire the cars on display and generally soak up the light-hearted yet adrenaline-charged atmosphere.
Several support races provide plenty of interesting action on both days. Head for the Karting Fan Zone bank to watch the Ferrari Challenge competitors negotiate the Porsche Curves, mix with other dedicated fans, test your talent on the simulators, and enjoy the Racing Avenue paddock and the 24H Inside area.
Road to Le Mans will be back as usual, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be hosting the Porsche Carrera Cup Brasil for the first time. The Tertre Rouge fan zone is a great place to enjoy the racing. It has a direct view of the track between the Goodyear footbridge and the Forest Esses. In between rounds there is a laser game, big air, mountaineering wall and zip line to try.
For spectators, the various practice and qualifying sessions and the Hyperpole are opportunities to try different vantage points: grandstands, fan zones and banks.
There’s plenty to do and see throughout the day, and when night falls, head to the Concert fan zone to enjoy the live music.
Two very different concerts
Concert Fan Zone from 20:00
Wednesday 10 June – Jean-Louis Aubert
Following on from his hugely successful PAFINITOUR – over 60 sold-out concerts in France, Switzerland and Belgium – Jean-Louis Aubert has added a series of festival dates this summer.
Aubert’s rich and varied repertoire includes many inter-generational favourites and a few lesser-known gems. His latest album, PAFINI, released in September 2024 is a musical voyage where poetically precise lyrics meet resolutely modern compositions.
This philosophy is evident on stage where Aubert’s scenography is both current and spectacular. Over the years, the musician’s generosity has created a scenic presence that conquers hearts and minds.
Thursday 11 June – The Libertines
English rock band formed in 1997, The Libertines’ frontmen Pete Doherty and Carl Barât and their musicians influenced a whole generation with albums Up the Bracket and The Libertines. The group’s raw, untamed, romantic spirit captured a cult following.
Their chaotic, energetic live performances are delivered with unrestrained emotion, the urgency of their anthems creating a communion with audiences far and wide. Expect an electric atmosphere on stage in preparation for the big race.
