Worthy winners of the ESCRA prize (best technical support) at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2010, the WR team is working hard to prepare for a new endurance season.

Technically, the 'tricolor' LM P2 has undergone significant changes during the winter break, starting with the engine. After three seasons of collaboration with Zytek, Gerard Welter and Salini Brothers have turned to the Nissan V8 Zytek. In addition, the aerodynamic configuration of the prototype was improved by a new rear wing tested in wind tunnel.

WR is a candidate for the next 24 Hours of Le Mans, and plans to attend the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup race at Spa-Francorchamps. In addition, the team will conduct three days of testing in March to complete its preparation.

Stéphane Salini, driver: "The choice to use the Nissan engine was a natural. On paper, the V8 seems to be the ideal compromise between performance and reliability. Besides the prestige of working with legendary Nismo, we are delighted that this engine is assembled by Zytek. Our collaboration proved a lasting memory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2010, we will continue to work in continuity."
