The performance of Porsche in the LMGT2 category looks very much like Audi’s: a victory of reliability.

After qualifying, everybody expected a duel between Ferrari and Corvette. The car of Lieb-Lietz-Henzler was half a second off the pace of the Italian and American GTs, but had a trouble-free race, with only 38 minutes in the pits. The Porsche received the chequered flat as the first GT classified, seven laps ahead of the Larbre Compétition Saleen, the winner of the LMGT1 category. Another victory by the 77 was the Michelin Green X Challenge, and the other car of the German team finished 8th with the Felbermayr family and Miroslav Konopka at the wheel. Another significant statistic for the German make: Porsche won its 98th Le Mans victory (class and overall) in 2010.
