The ACO remembers the late Domingo Piedade

The Automobile Club de l’Ouest is sad to have learned of the passing of Domingo Piedade at the age of 75, the team manager of Joest Racing for its first two wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1984 and 1985.

Portuguese driver Domingo Piedade left his mark on the 24 Hours of Le Mans has the team manager of New Man Joest Racing for the German team's two wins in 1984 and 1985. The victories were won with the Porsche 956 by Henri Pescarolo and Klaus Ludwig in 1984 then by Paolo Barilla, Klaus Ludwig and John Winter in 1985.

The ACO extends its sincerest condolences to Domingo Piedade's family and loved ones.
