WEC - 6 Hours of the Circuit of The Americas qualifying highlights (video)

The two qualifying sessions rendered their verdict. In the end, it will be a 100% Audi first row and an Aston Martin one-two in the two LM GTE classes! The race tonight is looking exciting!

In LM P1, Audi scored its second consecutive pole position with the #7 Audi R18 driven by Marcel Fässler, Benoît Tréluyer (back after his injury) and André Lotterer. It is slightly ahead of its #8 sister car and the world champion #1 Porsche 919 Hybrid. In LM P2, it's the first pole for the #36 Alpine A460, leading the championship, therefore gaining a point.

There is a huge battle brewing in LM GTE Pro with minimal gaps: les than five-tenths between the first six. Among them, the #95 Aston Martin Vantage proved the fastest. Same thing in LM GTE Am in which the #98 was the fastest this time. So Aston Martin scored a one-two in LM GTE during qualifying.

The six-hour race will start at 5:00 p.m. local time (11:00 p.m. in the U.K.). The start will be given by Tom Kristensen, nine-time winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
