24 Hours of Le Mans – Virtual reality and a children’s area in the Fan Zone

Look out for the special Fan Zone in the area located above the race village. It includes the Kids’ Zone, with an array of activities for younger fans plus a creche area, the Young Drivers’ Criterium, and a virtual reality pavilion with plenty of simulators and entertainment for the young and the young-at-heart!

You will find the high-tech pavilion in the race village, in front of the old museum. Come along and get to see what it’s really like to be a 24 Hours of Le Mans driver.
On offer:

- Warm-up on a Batak machine, an interactive trainer used by drivers to test their reflexes. There is also a 5D simulator with a moving platform and a VR headset where you can try your hand at seven different sports.

- The ‘fitting room’, with modelling and 3D printing to see what you would look like wearing a driver’s fire suit.

- Discovery of the circuit wearing a VR headset and a chance to see behind the scenes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, from the grandstands and the garages, to the passenger seat of a Ford.

- A virtual reality game in which you can test you driving skills at the wheel of a 24 Hours of Le Mans car.

- The trophy ceremony, held against a background depicting the 24 Hours of Le Mans podium. Here you can create your own 180° GIF showing you lifting the trophy!

The Fan Zone also includes the Kids’ Zone with its creche area, the Young Drivers’ Criterium and plenty more to keep you entertained.
