Look out for the special Fan Zone in the area located above the race village. It includes the Kids’ Zone, with an array of activities for younger fans plus a creche area, the Young Drivers’ Criterium, and a virtual reality pavilion with plenty of simulators and entertainment for the young and the young-at-heart!
You will find the high-tech pavilion in the race village, in front of the old museum. Come along and get to see what it’s really like to be a 24 Hours of Le Mans driver.
On offer:
- Warm-up on a Batak machine, an interactive trainer used by drivers to test their reflexes. There is also a 5D simulator with a moving platform and a VR headset where you can try your hand at seven different sports.
- The ‘fitting room’, with modelling and 3D printing to see what you would look like wearing a driver’s fire suit.
- Discovery of the circuit wearing a VR headset and a chance to see behind the scenes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, from the grandstands and the garages, to the passenger seat of a Ford.
- A virtual reality game in which you can test you driving skills at the wheel of a 24 Hours of Le Mans car.
- The trophy ceremony, held against a background depicting the 24 Hours of Le Mans podium. Here you can create your own 180° GIF showing you lifting the trophy!
The Fan Zone also includes the Kids’ Zone with its creche area, the Young Drivers’ Criterium and plenty more to keep you entertained.
