Hour 10: The Porsche v Audi battle still rages on in the dark

No safety car in Hour 10 of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Porsche and Audi are still fighting. The three lead cars are so close that every time one team pits there is a lead change.

The three Nissans were still running at midnight but they all had issues within the last hour. No. 22 GT-R LM NISMO driven by Harry Tincknell lost its engine cover, Olivier Pla, in the No. 23 car, was not able to turn at Arnage and Tsugio Matsuda, behind the wheel of No. 21 car stopped on the track at Arnage after he lost the front right wheel. The area is now under slow zone procedure.

Porsche was leading at midnight, but Audi retook the lead before 1 a.m. when the No. 19 pitted. Nick Tandy took over from Nico Hülkenberg in the No. 19 Porsche, while René Rast handed over to Marco Bonanomi in the No. 9 Audi and three-time Le Mans winner André Lotterer remained in the No. 7 car.

In all three other classes, there was no major change. In LM P2, No. 47 KCMG Oreca is still ahead of No. 46 Thiriet by TDS Racing Oreca and No. 26 G-Drive Racing Ligier.

In LM GTE Pro, the No. 99 Aston Martin and the No. 64 Corvette swap positions when one pits and in LM GTE Am, the No. 98 has been leading for a while.
