The No. 7 Audi is now back to third after its No. 9 sister car was pushed into the garage wit a mechanical issue. A few laps before, the same fate befell the No. 8 Audi. Both Audis were still in their respective garages at noon. The No. 19 Porsche driven by Earl Bamber is still a strong leader ahead of its No. 17 sister car even though Timo Bernhard, showing his rallying abilities, ran through the gravel bed at the Dunlop chicane to avoid a slower car.
In the LM P2 class, the No. 47 KCMG Oreca 05 is leading, but its two main rivals, No. 26 G-Drive Racing Ligier and No. 38 Jota Sport Gibson, are still in the same lap. Same lap as well in LM GTE Pro for the leading No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari and the No. 64 Corvette with a mere five-second gap between the cars. The second AF Corse Ferrari is third.
The fight in the LM GTE Am class is now for the third step of the podium between Patrick Long in the No. 77 Proton-Dempsey Racing Porsche and Townsend Bell in the No. 62 Ferrari. The Porsche is holding its position behind the No. 98 Aston Martin, which has been leading for over 12 hours, and the No. 72 SMP Racing Ferrari.
