They came with their son and daughter and attended the entire event along with a friend, Maggie, who lives in the south of the Loire department. She came especially for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
"I used to live in Le Mans for four years and came every year to support the Signatech outfit. It has been awhile since I stayed for the entire race like I did this year, and I would have been thrilled had the Alpine made it."
Stéphanie lives in Le Mans, and though not really a regular at the race - unlike her husband - she has already attended three or four editions.
"I found this edition more exciting than previous ones. I can't really explain why, something to do with the overall atmosphere. A bigger crowd, more energy. There was something extra this year compared to other years."
Romuald, her husband, is a regular. As he does every year, he loved the race. "Every edition is different; each has its unique qualities. For me who enjoys the race more and more every year, this edition was the best I've ever seen! It was a great edition for a wonderful winner..."
