Three Oreca 03 were at the start of the 79th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours. The Signatech-Nissan prototype designed in the workshops in Signes, mounted on the second step of the podium in LM P2, at the debut of the Oreca 03 at La Sarthe.

Franck Mailleux, Soheil Ayari and Lucas Ordonez (#26) were able to avoid the hazards of a tough race in all categories. The manufacturer Oreca was also represented by the Swiss team Race Performance (#40), who finished a fine sixth place, behind the wheel were Ralph Meichtry, Michel Frey and Marc Rostan.. Of the three ORECA 03 at the start, two reached the finish. Oreca the third (No. 48), led by Alexandre Prémat, Dominick and David Hallyday Kraihamer unfortunately retired following an exit from the circuit, having led the LM P2 category for a long time. The podium finish of Signatech Nissan added to pole and fastest lap set by an Oreca 03. Unbeaten in qualifying since the beginning of the ILMC 2011 (four races four poles) and winning the 1000km of Spa and second place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the momentum of the Oreca 03 continues and confirms that its domination in LM P2.
