After being invited to the demonstration of alternative energy vehicles in the prologue to the last 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Tesla Roadster the most powerful electric sports car in the world, came to Paris.

Three days before the opening of the Paris Motor Show, on the occasion of the opening of on September 29 of the Paris Tesla dealership, Erik Comas received from the hands of Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors, the key the first five Tesla Roadster Cars destined for the Green Challenge, a new corporate event formula based on the Tesla.

After delivery of the other four cars next winter, the five Green Cars Tesla Roadster Challenge will be involved in the 2011 Monte Carlo Rally for Alternative Energy, which runs from 31st March 3rd April 3. They will benefit from the status of official Tesla team, with technical support from the factory.

After conquering the title of Champion International Formula 3000 here just twenty years ago, then 59 F1 starts, Erik Comas won the Monte Carlo Alternative Energy 2010 in a Tesla Roadster alongside Sebastian Chol. A historic event in motor sport, as this victory is the first of an electric car in an official FIA competition. Erik Comas also has eight appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with four consecutive top 5 best results and a second place in 2005 with Pescarolo Sport, shared with Emmanuel Collard and Jean-Christophe Boullion.
